Emily was one of a kind. She was not defined by her Down syndrome or her illnesses but by the love she offered to family and friends. Although originally created to communicate her health status to prayer warriors, this blog is now a tribute to the impact she had on our lives.

I pray that Emily is feeling better soon! I hope she enjoyed all of the treats that my uncle delivered to her for us! Give her my love and tell her I miss my Little Miss Sunshine! PLEASE let me know if there is anything I can do for any of you!
Love,
Mrs. Boyd (Susan)
My thoughts and prayers are with Emily and all of you. I have come to know her through all the times I have "subbed" in her class. We've played hide and seek around the columns many times.
My husband and I will be in Orlando for Christmas. We will be delivering a package from the school on Christmas Eve Day.
God bless all of you.
Love,
Mrs. Ford (Mary)
Hello Dear Ones ... We were going to stop by the hospital to see you all on Wednesday, but when we found out our precious Emily was in ICU, we decided just to keep on praying and not get in the way there. Just know that you will continue to be in our prayers every day, as you have been for so many years. We love you all. God love and bless you real good. Love, Irv and Carol
