Emily was one of a kind. She was not defined by her Down syndrome or her illnesses but by the love she offered to family and friends. Although originally created to communicate her health status to prayer warriors, this blog is now a tribute to the impact she had on our lives.

What a sweet picture of your two girls together. I sure you must still miss her. God reminded me to pray for you today and now I know why. Your sister in Christ, Carol
As we were finishing up the school year we were discussing our prayer request, one of which had been for Abby and her Crone's disease. I was able to share with the sophomores, Abby's WCA class, that Megan had told me she was doing better and learning how to live with the changes. We then were reminded by Amber W. to pray for you all as Emily's birthday neared. We did do that, as well. Please know that you all may be miles away from FL but we remember you in our thoughts and prayers regularly.
